Shutting off my phone at 9pm & only turning it back on at 8am.
Music. Best thing invented.
SILENCE. Just finding quiet pockets of time about three times a day to just be. To quiet down and breathe.
Writing. Putting thoughts on the page helps so much. It helps unclutter all the messy stuff.
Drawing to. Theres something about being creative & ‘unproductive’ that reminds us to let go a bit, to loosen our grip on things. TO breathe in deep and be reminded that we are not robots and we aren’t responsible to keep the sun shining and the earth on its axis.
Smiling. Call me cliché or cheesy but a few seconds of a grin really changes whats happening internally.
Reading. Escaping to a book a few times a week does wonders to my soul.
WATER. Yip. H20. Have a glass, it'll make you feel better.
Showering. Yes sometimes I shower at the most random time and its like a reset button to my whole day.
Last but not least sleep. I love it so much. I’m no longer depriving myself of the recommended 8 hours and its changing everything.
